The Far Field are a five-piece alternative indie band from Folkestone, Kent, crafting a powerful and cinematic sound that blends soaring melodies, textured guitars and emotionally driven songwriting. Drawing inspiration from artists including Band of Horses, Alvvays and The Shins, the band's music effortlessly moves between delicate, atmospheric moments and explosive walls of sound. ​ Following the release of their self-titled debut EP, The Far Field have received praise for their distinctive style, balancing raw emotion with polished musicianship to create a sound that feels timeless yet refreshingly original. ​ Fronted by vocalist and keyboard player Nicola Tee, alongside Dan Lucas (guitar), Adam McVey (guitar), Nathan Cooke (bass) and Matt Cotter (drums), The Far Field write and perform original music that is rich in atmosphere, authenticity and storytelling.
