Involved in the European music industry for the past 10 years, Compass Music Founder & Director Géraldine Zanaska moved from her hometown of Paris to London aged 21, where she earned a Master’s degree in Music Business Management. She then worked in the UK for a record label (Bella Union), a music venue (Royal Albert Hall), live music promoters (Bird On The Wire), a cultural center (Institut Français) and a music export office (Le Bureau Export), gaining experience in European project management, event production, music curation and programming, partnerships and communication.
Géraldine is a regular lecturer and workshop host for various music business and cultural management courses, as well as a seasoned public speaker, speaking regularly at European music conferences such as The Great Escape, Reeperbahn, Trans Musicales, by:Larm and Sonic Visions.
Géraldine currently lives between London and Paris.

Born to a Malagasy mother and a French father, Etienne grew up in a multicultural household with multiple musical influences. He recently earned a master's degree in Creative and Cultural Industries management at HEC, one of France’s top business schools. This included a semester abroad studying social sciences at Tokyo’s Hitotsubashi University.
A true hip-hop nerd, Etienne is constantly on the lookout for new acts from all parts of the world, a hobby that led him to starting his own music blog, Kekoutey.
After hints in consulting and with a music technology company, he joined Compass Music in October 2020 as Executive Assistant.

Originally from Bordeaux in the South West of France, Elise studied Communication in Nice before earning a Bachelor in Marketing applied to Cultural Products from Issoudun University in 2016.
A keen traveller with an adventurous mind, she then moved to South Africa where she worked for Black Major, a 360 music company comprising a record label, booking agency and artist management divisions, where she gained experience in event management and production.
Back in France, Elise worked as a Digital Communications Officer for French festival Garorock and as Community Manager for promoter Allo Floride.
Elise is now enrolled in a Master's in Digital Marketing. She joined Compass Music in October 2020, taking charge of all things Communication, PR and Social Media.
