Hailing from the seaside town of Folkestone, Oscillate — Live bring the weight, warmth and energy of soundsystem culture to live electronic music. Rooted in dub and reggae but with plenty of UK garage and bass thrown into the mix, Oscillate build their live sets around heavy basslines, rolling drums, synths, live instrumentation and plenty of hands-on dub mixing. Delays fly, reverbs wash through the mix and tracks are pulled apart and rebuilt on the fly — meaning no two Oscillate performances are quite the same. At the heart of it all is a love of dub as a live art form: playful, spontaneous and shaped by the room, the crowd and the soundsystem. It’s electronic music brought to life in the moment — shaped by performance, improvisation and the energy of the soundsystem.
