Malaki’s entirely self produced catalogue consists of sunny melodies, dreamy blends of R&B, vintage pop, soul and jazz, and expressive song writing. At 25 he has developed a blissful sound, drawing influence from 70’s jazz, neo-soul, bossa nova and hip-hop. His latest single “Face Value” is a catchy, upbeat track that showcases Malaki’s distinct voice and style to its fullest, with sticky melodies, catchy lyrics and his heart on his sleeve. He will be joined by frequent collaborator Freya McKenna, a beloved Folkestonian vocalist whose mature and deeply soulful voice is the dream pairing for Malaki’s production style.
