M. Woodroe is a moody alternative band who has quickly shot out of the local DIY scene in Brighton to gain a reputation as one of the city's exciting emerging acts. Led by intricate political and provocative lyrics and followed by a bed of raw angular guitar noise, the 4-piece's image, lyrics and sound are boundary-pushing contemplations of gender, sexuality and desire that are difficult to pin down to genre archetypes.
