London band Dogviolet fuse post‑punk grit, gothic atmosphere and folk‑tinged melody, creating a concoction that holds listeners in their spell. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, botanical imagery is woven through their emotionally honest lyrics exploring themes of social injustice, familial challenges and sapphic desire. The genre-bending 4-piece delicately balance power and vulnerability through striking vocals, emotive melodies, haunting harmonies and atmospheric guitar lines, reminiscent of The Cranberries, Warpaint and Interpol. Invited to support Heartworms at Village Underground, The Wedding Present at O2 Institute Birmingham, and L.A. Witch and Whitelands at MOTH Club, Dogviolet are building serious momentum.
