Almahata is the independent alternative/folk project of Folkestone based singer/songwriter, Phoebe Warden. With the name loosely translating to ‘the souls natural sound’, the music of Almahata is reminiscent of 60s/70’s folk heroines, Sandy Denny and Joni Mitchell. Steeped in confronting truths, the songwriting is introspective and an ode to seeking connection and authenticity within the confines of the modern day world.
