Les Trans s’invitent chez vous - 2- 5 december - Rennes, France
France's premier see-them-here-first festival has seen its hopes of having a physical edition going away with the second lockdown happening in France. Commited to bring their fine selected line up to the audience, they launch a digital edition with 4 evenings of sessions filmed under live conditions from 2 different venues in Paris and Rennes and broadcast live, featuring 12 bands and artists of the initial program.

It includes quatuor Makoto San, that combines their traditional musical practices of bamboo with western electronic and techno music, and James BKS, ex composer for big hip hop names, now producing his own music that combines african percussion, hip hop and pop melodies.

Nyege Nyege Festival - 3 - 6 december - (Kampala, Uganda)
Major music event of Eastern Africa, Nyege Nyege highlights the underground music and arts of the continent. This edition will take the form of 96H hours of showcases, both online and physical. In the meantime, Nyege nyege launches a new platform : nyegenyege.com, featuring 350 artists from all over Africa.
Nyege Nyege’s digital platform has been made in collaboration with Kenyan artist and African Digital Art founder Jepchumba, and will involve live reports from the site, 360 degree live cameras, virtual stages and even an industry-focused “artists only” area, where artists can interact with each other and plan future collaborations.
